This was the first time I celebrated my father's birthday in KL. We celebrated in the pub in TTDI, which was located near to his temporary apartment.
Inside the pub..

On 10/5, we, 10 people took taxies to SS2 to celebrate Lester's 18th birthday. Some of us were cheated by a taxi driver. He charged them RM 20 for a ride. This is the vileness of real human world, what the fuck...
We went to New Paris Restaurant (新巴黎露天餐馆) at Jalan SS2/74 to have our dinner. Pictures say a thousand words.Photos below show what we ordered:
Before
After..
*Do note that there was an additional dish on the table- 炸猪手.This dish was special ordered because of Ah Pui. He was still not full, hihi..
When we paid the bill , we found that the price was much lower than what we had assumed. Only RM 20 per person..Quite reasonable..
Let us guess, what did Lester get for his 18th birthday?
(HINT: He is an adult now. He can do those 'legal' stuff now. So you know I know la..No need to mention what was that..)
We took a group photo in front of the restaurant.
Some of us left earlier. Others then went to look for Durian. Finally, we found 1 stall. It was not really a stall. It was the boot of a van. Ah Perng went to ask the price of the durian. The durian seller said let us test first. We just did what he had said.
There was a bald rich man who wanted to pay for the durians that his family had. The seller charged him RM180 . 1 Durian RM 90, walao eh...
The rich man took out three RM 50 notes. At the same time, he asked the hawker his hp number. After negotiating (not bargaining), the seller returned him about RM 30.
The bald man said to him,I like to eat durian , but I will never come to you again..
Now, our turn..
He charged us RM58. WALAO eh, 1 half-rotten durian cost us RM 58, damn..
Ah Perng tried to tell him that his wallet had only left RM 30 by showing his wallet to him. This method was really useless. We as human, couldn't negotiate with a SOB.
The durian hawker started to scold him, then he grabbed the durian knife and asked Ah Perng to take off his pants. Our hero, Ah Perng was not scared at all. Another hero came to solve the problem. Kai Xiang paid for the remaining amount. Then, we left there immediately.
After that, we did a police report. As what we expected, the police couldn't do anything to him. No evidence, bla bla... Or I shall say no efficiency, where is my handphone? (Please refer to my post, the beginning of this year)
We reached home at around 11.30pm..
Lester did have a memorable birthday. Cheap dinner and expensive durian..

Bing Sen's birthday + Iron Man + Fashion show..
Finally, I have finished 3 tests and 2 assignments. ARGH....1 more EAL assignment to be completed, and mid term examination is just less than 1 month away....
-Let it be-
It has been at least 2 weeks time since my last update. Sorry for that. There are some latest happenings I would like to highlight. I have to squeeze everything into 1 post. Thus , it is going to be a long post..
On 30/4, Bing Sen celebrated his 19th birthday.
We were singing birthday song in 4 languages again..happily.. Two persons sat beside Bing Sen were Danny and Gabriel, who just spread some chocolate on BS 's face. Pity him..
We watched this movie at night. It was really a fabulous movie. It was 1 of the best sci-fiction movie I have ever watched.
The movie narrates that Tony Stark is a billionaire industrialist and genius robot inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armour and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.
Tony is finishing his first armour to escape from terrorist group Ten Rings
Tony is testing his second armour.
Ironman is saving a car from falling..
IT IS A MUST-WATCH MOVIE..
After that, there was a fashion show..

Hectic life..
Haih.. Studying AUSMAT is really tiring. Every topic test, assignment, group project 's mark is counted into the TEE score. So stressful.. But, I still can find some of my friends here have a lot of leisure time to do other stuff, like watching movies, playing dotA, etc.I should learn time management from them. I just finished my examSS yesterday, feel so free now.. 2 more topic test to come, so wish me luck..
Thanks to the exams, I don't have time to update this blog. Now, I just squeeze everything into 1 post..
Last Friday, I followed my friends to Cine leisure. When I reached there, I just found out there was a promotion on movie I watched recently, Ah Long Pte Ltd. Mark Lee, Gao Yi and director Jack Neo were there. We managed to get a big movie poster each and took photos with them. Someone told me that he wanted to ask Mark Lee whether he is really a 'chao ah gua' (sissy) .LOL
On the next 2 days, we went to 1 Utama for dinner. Before cycling back home, we went to a bra exhibition (enjoying the internal beauty of women, wahaha) by Triumph. We learnt the history of the bra. Here 's the most elegant bra (cost Euro $ 100 000)

On Monday, Choon Seong and I went to SS 2 to have FREE dinner . I had to use the coupon before it was expired. It was the best dinner I had ever had since I came to study here. Have a look below:
(feeling hungry now)
On 9th April night (around 11.30pm),it was Li Vern 's birthday countdown. Here 's the details because Jonathan was the one who planned the 'party' and the surprise on the next day.
Who was Li Vern looking at? Her boyfriend?

Naughty Li Vern poured the molten ice cream onto Gabriel 's shirt. What's her intention? Hehe

Deep thought..
1 April is April Fool. Everyone knows it, but my friend's birthday falls on the day after April Fool.. hoho, how about that?
Actually , on that day, I hesitated whether I wanted to go to the party or not, since there would be a CALCULUS test on the next day. One of my friends (I won't mention his name here) kept telling me that he would only celebrate with his close friends only.
"What's the point that so many people going out to the birthday party ?Are you all really want to celebrate with him ? Do you all really feel happy for him ? "asked my friend.
"Then, you all just plan to pay his meal ? As usual? What's the significance of celebrating the birthday parties? " he said.
I was speechless. In my opinion, I just took these parties as a chance to hang out. Sometimes, we must spend some time to 联络感情. (I didn't say this to the friend, hope that he will understand.)After struggling for a while , I decided to go to the party. (At last, I was A BIT regretted for my decision, read the next post) .
As usual (Again!!! So boring la, why don't we change place??), we went to 1 Utama shopping mall to celebrate his birthday. We celebrated the party in 1 fast food shop (Forget the name) .
I had the largest burger I had ever had in my life. After that, as usual, birthday song singing session began and we left there right after finishing the cake.
Then, I had to burn midnight oil to finish the revision...

My coursemates..
After studying in KBU for around 9 months, I realize that my coursemates (male only) can be divided into 3 main groups..Let's see
One group is extravagant group.. To be exact, they spend more money than others. They are willingly to spend money to buy clothes, eat more expensive food, use branded materials..
In contrast, there is a stingy group. This group of people will try their best to save as much money as they can. I guess most of them won't spend more than RM 10 per day..
Let me introduce PBSM. PBSM is abbreviation of Persatuan Balik Setiap Minggu (Not Persatuan Bulan Sabit Merah). From my observation during 9 months period, I can conclude that most of them are homesick. Every weekends, they will pack all their belongings, homework , dirty clothes to bring back their home nearby. I quite envy this kind of lifestyle. But, in my heart, I tell myself I must be always independent. This is the chance for me to learn to be independent. One day, I asked one of them why he must go back every weekends since there is a 'comfortable' student house here. He told me that we will leave our family members very soon and we shall spend more time accompanying them..Good point.
These 3 groups will unite when there are 2 special occasions, namely:
1. dotA conference
2. Somebody's birthday
Let me elaborate a little bit.
dotA conference will be held mostly at night . The starting time is not fixed, should be around 10 pm until the next MORNING. 'MORNING' means either they stop at 2, 3 am or 6, 7am.. It depends on the players' mood , condition, homework, bla bla bla..
Birthday.. The birthday parties will usually take place in 1 Utama (most of the time) or The Curve. The tradition is having dinner together, chatting together.. Ya, there will always birthday song singing session. This is the fun part. The song is consisted of 4 languages (English, Chinese, German, Cantonese).I like it so much.
For me , I am either the member of stingy group , or the member of extravagant group. I can't stand eating cheap (and not so delicious) food for a long time, sometimes have to eat something special. But, for sure, I am not a member of PBSM..
Cheers, friends..Friendship forever..

Recom gathering in Sunway Pyramid...
Yesterday (19/1),after having breakfast, Lester, Jonathan and I took taxi to Sunway Pyramid..
We should meet some INTEC guys there .. We reached there at around 10.30am. Those INTEC guys still had not arrived yet. While waiting for them, we went to Popular bookstore..
They arrived!!! They asked us to meet them in front of Dunkin' Donuts. After searching for a while, we found them.. Maxx, Bryan, Wen Sum,Ji Yi and her coursemate were there.. Huhu, I found that Maxx was quite tall , while Weng Sum was quite 'small-sized'...(No personal attack..)
We had our lunch in KFC restaurant.. Actually, i didn't feel well having meal in front of people i didn't really know well and much..The situation was very embarrassing ( 尴尬) and weird..It was like we already knew each other in the forum or Friendster..We didn't have much thing to talk about.. This only happened to me , didn't know why.. Lester still had something to chat with them, so as Jonathan.. May be I should improve myself..
After the embarrassing lunch, ice skating session started. I have never skated before.. I was the first timer in ice skating, same as Lester and Jonathan..We ice skated for 5 hours...I saw the girls still couldn't ice skated without holding the boundary..Maybe they were scared..so there was a good opportunity for a boy to guide her by holding her hand, skating around.. I was quite jealous as Maxx, Weng Sum, and Bryan would have such a chance to do so... I wished i could do that to other girls, but I must be very good at ice skating at first..
From left: Bryan, Augustina, Ji Yi, Weng Sum, me, Jonathan, Lester
After that, we went to watch this movie:
I supposed this was the worst movie of the year.. We all paid RM 11 each to watch this 'video clip' .The whole movie was shot using a video camera.. The quality of the video was really terrible..
I met my former classmate, Hon Kit and his INTEC friends. We (all boys)(Girls wanted to keep fit) had our dinner in Kim Gary. While waiting for food, those INTEC boys really crapped a lot. We couldn't stop laughing...
We took taxi back to 1 Utama and reached there at 10..
ARGH, my legs were really exhausted...

Penang trip + IELTS result released + Learn Driving..
On 27/12 , after studying undang- undang for the whole night, I sat for the test . The registration process took me quite a long time.. I managed to finish the test in 11 minutes (the test duration was 45 minutes) and didn't even checked the answers. (I was too lazy) Hooray, I passed the exam, wrong 4 questions only..
Then, I went to my school to certify documents. When I reached my beloved school, I just realized that PMR results were released that time.. I heard that our school 8 As scorers (81) had broken the school previous record. Walao.. (At night, when i read newspapers, I found that Penang schools did better.. Jit Sin 8As 209 people, Penang Girl's school 201 people.. ) The students' quality became higher or tests became easier? Haha
At noon, Nam Khoon ,Lee chon and I went to Penang. Nam Khoon wanted to take back his laptop . Sin Jie (Nam Khoon's friend ) came to fetch us from jetty. He drove us to the HP Service Center (near Bkt. Jambul). After that, Nam Khoon realized that his laptop adaptor was lost.....(REMINDER: don't buy COMPAQ ). After having our tea break in a hawker center , we went to Prangin Mall. Around 8, we took the ferry back to Butterworth. We had dinner at mamak stall near jetty..

28/12
This day was quite a special day... 13 calendar days from my IELTS test. My dad asked me to call KBU to ask about the results. I called KBU twice, one was lunch break, and 1 asked me to call tomorrow. My dad and I felt so fed up. I asked my dad to call. After a long wait, my dad called me. Unbelievable,I got band 7..
wow...This was really an unexpected result...
At night, we went to The Sense (a cafe) to 'celebrate'..I tried mocha for the first time, it was too sweet for me...
---------------------------------------------
29/12 + 30/12
I went to attend the D class theory class. Damn damn boring. I almost fell asleep there..
On 30/12, I sat for the practical test. It was the first time to drive...A bit nervous. Most people told me that newbie would feel scared on the road, but I didn't think so..
I only managed to learn parking (3 poins turn and daki bukit will be leant next year...)
That 's all..

Genting + Bkt. Bintang trip
Early in the morning, we departed from 1 Utama to Genting by bus. It cost us only RM 8.50 per person(including Skyway -one trip) ..Huhu..
After 1 hour, we reached Skyway. We rode cable car to the Genting Highland. We then reached Highland Hotel. En route to First World Hotel, we visited gallery of Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong.
We then reached First World Hotel. We had our lunch in Marrybrown because this was the cheapest food could be found around there.
We went to walk around the plaza.
After that, we went to Cultural Village at the top floor of First World Hotel, nothing there, so disappointed that there were only shops that sold 'la-la' things..
Before leaving Genting Highlands at 4, we went to enjoy the fresh, cool air outside..We bought some junk food before departing to Jalan Imbi.
We all took a nap on the bus. Around 6,we arrived at Times Square. After taking photos and walking around , we went to Low Yat Plaza to have our dinner.
After dining , we walked to Jalan Alor, which was situated 2 streets in front of BB Plaza. I managed to buy dried meat (肉干) back home..
We went to visit Pavilion after that. There was a big white christmas tree. We could see that some children were singing Christmas songs on the tree .
Before going back, we went to Starhill. There was also a choir there singing christmas songs..
I found the items sold here were extremely expensive. For example, the original LV handbag cost more than RM 10000..

After IELTS..
On the day we finished our test, we went to have 'steamboat'in a shop near Sunway Pyramid. We departed at around 5. Actually. this occasion was held to celebrate the finish of our test, and also to hold a farewell party for Kai Xiang, Yun Huan and Min jie, who were going back on the next morning.

We can eat as much as we could , but we will be required to pay for the fine if we took too much food that we couldn't finish all of it. The only interestingf scene i saw here was when the roasted chicken wings was being served, all the people there seemed like fighting for them. The sound of the could be heard..
Before leaving ,Perng Yih gave Min Jie her birthday present ( her birthday fell on 31/12, had to give early)
After that, we went to Sunway Pyramid to 'loiter'.
Suddenly , I heard a bell ringing. Oh, Giordano was offering 45 % storewide discount . That's why there were so many people there busy choosing clothes.. Some of my friends bought T-shirts there . We went back by taxi. Damn expensive , RM 17, because it was around 11 already..
------------------------------------------------------------------
On 17/12, we (Choon Seong,Perng Yih, Ah Voo and I ) went to visit Mid Valley Megamall and The Garden. We took 2 taxis to reach Mid Valley (lazy to wait for buses). We bought a lot of of biscuits here. We snapped a lot of photos too. Examples:
Mid Valley:
The Garden:
We went to LEGO shop.
We then went to Pudu bus station to buy tickets back to Sg. Petani. Damn it, most of the tickets were sold out. We had to buy the Friday ticket..
After that, we walked to Low Yat Plaza to have dinner. We found that the food here were not so expensive as expected. After dinner, Perng Yih went to buy speakers + base and RAM (DDR).
Before going back, we went to Sg. Wang Plaza to walk around. We heard the ringing sound again.. Haha Giordano again.. My friend went to buy some clothes there..
En route to monorail station, we saw one mat salleh performing using musical instrument made by himself.
