visit taylors and sunway pyramid..

I departed from my house here at 8am, rode KTM for half an hour and finally arrived at Ridzuan Apartment(Taylors students' hostel)

While waiting for Nam Khoon who was repairing his laptop, I met Li Ming in Nam Khoon's unit. We talked about so many things because we had not met each other for a long time.. I just knew that she also faced problems i had here. She was discriminated by some of her classmates who lived in KL and did better than her.Actually, I supposed to teach her Complex Numbers, but it looked likes she knew better than me. SAM students learnt more than AUSMAT..

We then went to Sunway Pyramid.After walking for about half an hour, we reached there.

Nam Khoon then went to Digital Centre to repair his laptop.This was the place that sold computers and accessories, just likes Low Yat.. The worker there charged him a bomb, RM 50 just for taking the data out from the laptop. He had to agree with that, because other shops charged even higher, RM 100 for formatting and taking out the data ..

While waiting for the laptop to be repaired, we went to explore the other part of Sunway Pyramid.

Before going back to Nam Khoon's hostel, we had our dinner in the Jusco food court. The food is so suck and expensive, no more next time..

Low Yat trip

This day was the day before the Deepavali holiday. Luckily, my class ended early, so I managed to go to Low Yat Plaza to buy something.

After spending about 2 hours on the bus and monorail, I reached Low Yat Plaza at around 4pm. Then, I began doing some surveys and compared all the prices and brands..

Finally, I ended up with buying these things:



120 GB external hard drive



3-fan cooler pad



Kington microSD card--to be slotted in my handphone..


On my way to monorail, I saw this 'spaceship' beside the Sungai Wang building.I thought it was a theatre about space adventure..




Then, I went back to Bandar Utama as the same way I went to Low Yat.Nothing special..

But, when I reached 1 Utama, something happened....

Wherever I went, the shops' bar code detector(i don't know the exact name, something that detects whether you steal something or not) rang.. I felt so embarrassed, because I was looked like a thief. The worker in the Low Yat 's shop forgot to remove the bar code

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary

Wak.. Had to wake up so early, 6 am ..

After taking bath, we , all boys cycled to college to wait for bus. The bus was quite punctual, departed at 7am.

On the way to deerland, we listened to 3 repeated songs for umpteen times. The songs were 'What a Wonderful World','Season in the Sun' and 'You Raise Me Up'. I fell asleep finally..

Finally, at 9.30am, we reached the deer land in Kuala Gandah, Pahang. Then, we had to wait for the deerpark to open at 10am. We spent half an hour by crapping , taking some photos, bla bla bla..



We went into the deer park. First , we saw the deers from Indonesia. According to the deer park owner, Abdullah, those deers came from Indonesia. There were 3 types of deers there, namely Indonesia, Taiwan and Malaysia (mouse deer). We fed the deers also. The deers looked like very aggressive, so desperate to eat ..

Then, we went to feed the bird and chicken. Nothing special here, only some cute chicks..

We then took photo with python. 1 lady from China was so afraid of the snake , quickly escaped from it, when Abdullah put the snake around her neck. Almost all my friends took the photo already (except Ornella, the Iban girl). I wanted to take also. He(Abdullah) put the snake around my neck and my body. I felt so not comfortable and 'geli' that there was something kept turning around me..

We then went to feed bear, ostrich, rabbit and finally the sunbear(the smallest bear in the world, according to him also).



We continued our journey to elephant conservation center.We had our lunch there.We ate the dishes we had prepared earlier( sandwiches were prepared from 4am, according to Yun Huan) .

We then went to watch a documentary about elephant capture.Boring film.. I almost fell asleep inside like Baem and ah Perng.

After that, we went to feed elephant. I was able to see how big the tongue of an elephant . Wah..

There was an elephant riding session after that.This the first time I rode on an elephant.I felt so 'geli' and 'gatal' because there was a lot of hair on the elephant's skin. Anyway, good experience..

Elephant bathing session. People rid on the elephant will be fallen down with elephant into the river. Haha, they all looked so happy and siok. Too bad that I forgot to bring my towel,extra underwear , extra shorts.. All my friend used the opportunity to play in the water, although the water was not so clean.. This is the first time also i saw Haslina took off her 'tudung'.. Hihi

After that, we went to Bentung waterfall.


After an one-and-a-half-hour journey on the bus and listening to the 3 same songs again, we reached there, the waterfall. This time, only 2 of us, Ah Perng and I didn't play in the water..Sigh..


Finally, we reached KBU at around 7.45pm. We all had dinner together before going back home.

The lesson I learnt is --Before going out for a trip that play in the water, remember to bring along extra underwear, shirt,shorts and towel..

Oktoberfest

Today is the special day. Why say so? As today is the 1st day of German Oktoberfest.

The Oktoberfest is a 16 day festival held each year in Munich, Bavaria, Germany during late September and early October. It is one of the most famous events in the city and the world's largest fair, with some six million people attending every year.

The event traditionally takes place during the 16 days up to and including the first Sunday in October. In 1990, the schedule was modified in response to German reunification so that if the first Sunday in October falls on the 1st or 2nd, then the festival will go on until October 3rd (German Unity Day). Thus, the festival is now 17 days when the 1st Sunday is October 2nd and 18 days when it is October 1st. The festival is held on an area named the Theresienwiese (Field [or meadow] of Therese), often called "d’ Wiesn" for short. Beer plays a central role in the fair, with every festival beginning with a keg of beer tapped by the Mayor of Munich who declares "O'zapft is!" (Bavarian: "It’s tapped!"). A special Oktoberfest beer is brewed for the occasion, which is slightly darker and stronger, in both taste and alcohol. It is served in a one-liter-tankard called Maß. The first mass is served to the Bavarian Prime Minister. Only local Munich breweries are allowed to serve this beer in a Bierzelt, a beer tent which is large enough for thousands.

Visitors also consume large quantities of food, most of it traditional hearty fare such as sausage, hendl (chicken), käsespätzle (cheese noodles), and sauerkraut, along with such Bavarian delicacies as roast ox tails.

Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations, modeled after the Munich event.

At 4 pm, we ,almost all boys went to the festival.

The October Fest was held in Rainforest in 1 Utama.On the way , we saw 1 World Game Tournament(WGC).The games that the players were playing were Counter Strike, Need For Speed......




Actually, we aimed for the beer which cost RM 1 (two 50 sen coins) per bottle. Oh god ! Where can we find such a cheap beer? Imported German beer somemore.We queued up for about half an hour.I could see some foreigners here. May be they were German.

When the time was 10 seconds more to approach 5pm, the host started counting down.
"10,9,8......0"

Yeah, after a long wait, we bought the German beer. I saw some of friends finish 1 bottle in less than 1 minute. Amazing!! Then, they went to queue up again to buy another bottle. The authority mentioned that they could only purchase another bottle of beer with the empty bottle + RM 1.After that, I managed to finish my first bottle of beer in my life. Haha.




Then, i felt hungry. I went for some German food, I ordered kaesller bacon. It cost me RM 10, argh. So few food only.. It consisted of 2 hams (pork), 1 bread, some rotten cabbage (quite sour)...




When I was ordering food, i saw this..




At the same time,a German band was singing their native songs in German language. I couldn't understand any, but the songs were quite nice.
