After IELTS..

On the day we finished our test, we went to have 'steamboat'in a shop near Sunway Pyramid. We departed at around 5. Actually. this occasion was held to celebrate the finish of our test, and also to hold a farewell party for Kai Xiang, Yun Huan and Min jie, who were going back on the next morning.

We can eat as much as we could , but we will be required to pay for the fine if we took too much food that we couldn't finish all of it. The only interestingf scene i saw here was when the roasted chicken wings was being served, all the people there seemed like fighting for them. The sound of the could be heard..

Before leaving ,Perng Yih gave Min Jie her birthday present ( her birthday fell on 31/12, had to give early)

After that, we went to Sunway Pyramid to 'loiter'.

Suddenly , I heard a bell ringing. Oh, Giordano was offering 45 % storewide discount . That's why there were so many people there busy choosing clothes.. Some of my friends bought T-shirts there . We went back by taxi. Damn expensive , RM 17, because it was around 11 already..

------------------------------------------------------------------

On 17/12, we (Choon Seong,Perng Yih, Ah Voo and I ) went to visit Mid Valley Megamall and The Garden. We took 2 taxis to reach Mid Valley (lazy to wait for buses). We bought a lot of of biscuits here. We snapped a lot of photos too. Examples:

Mid Valley:

The Garden:

We went to LEGO shop.

We then went to Pudu bus station to buy tickets back to Sg. Petani. Damn it, most of the tickets were sold out. We had to buy the Friday ticket..

After that, we walked to Low Yat Plaza to have dinner. We found that the food here were not so expensive as expected. After dinner, Perng Yih went to buy speakers + base and RAM (DDR).

Before going back, we went to Sg. Wang Plaza to walk around. We heard the ringing sound again.. Haha Giordano again.. My friend went to buy some clothes there..

En route to monorail station, we saw one mat salleh performing using musical instrument made by himself.

December= birthday month + Christmas preparation of shopping malls

This month is really a lovely month. Why I say so ? I have quite a lot of friends here whose birthday fall on this month, eg: Lai Kean(4/12), Yun Huan(10/12), Shu Wei(12/12), Min Jie(31/12) ....

Back to 4/12, we (almost all chinese boys) celebrated Lai Kean's birthday in the Wong Kok Char Chan Teng.We had a great dinner ( + 1 supreme size 奶茶 )and snapped quite a lot of photos..

Ok, let's turn to Yun Huan's birthday. All girls and 3 boys (including me) went to have lunch in Vietnam Kitchen in 1 Utama. This time, chinese 's bad habit was shown again--No punctuality. We boys reached there at 2, those girls reached there at 3.. We waited for the food to be served for another 1 hour , while all the girls were already eating.. The food was actually quite delicious and not too expensive, just that the amount was little. Ah, before I forgot , I remembered that somebody wore beautifully for the first time, long-sleeved blouse.. Unbelievable..

After singing birthday song and eating birthday cake, we took a photo

Now, Shu Wei's turn.. His birthday was celebrated in Secret Recipe, 1 Utama (again!!). The meal I ordered (BBQ chicken rice ) was not so tasty as I expected. We then ordered a marble cheese cake as the birthday cake for Shu Wei. They even wrote German on top of the cake..

This month is also very Christmassy

I can see that most of the well known shopping malls has set up the Christmas trees and its decoration..

Before test- Nokia N Series Roadshow is back + Christmas+ Golden Compass

On 8/12, I went to 'roam' across 1 Utama due to boringness.. And I saw this..

Huhu, the roadshow was back. This time, the main characters were N77 and N82

N77

N77, in my opinion , it looked like a mobile TV. Compared to N73, its design looked very alike in design. Its camera was only 2.0 MP..(better than my phone now)

when i saw N82, I quickly linked it with K850i which was just released recently..

The Comparison Between N 82 and K 850i (click to enlarge it)

Read more here

sigh..I wanted to change my phone, but no money..

Before going back , I saw a band (or orchestra) performing on the stage in Oval court.

-------------------

On 9/12,we watched 'Golden Compass' at 9.20pm after having dinner in Kluang station

The story narrated about a girl , who was destined to know how to use the golden compass, which could be used to know the answer of whatever question.

Based on author Philip Pullman's bestselling and award-winning novel,'The Golden Compass' tells the first story in Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. 'The Golden Compass' is an exciting fantasy adventure, set in an alternative world where people's souls manifest themselves as animals, talking bears fight wars, and Gyptians and witches co-exist. At the center of the story is Lyra (played by newcomer Dakota Blue Richards), a 12-year-old girl who starts out trying to rescue a friend who's been kidnapped by a mysterious organization known as the Gobblers - and winds up on an epic quest to save not only her world, but ours as well. 'The Golden Compass' stars an ensemble cast that includes Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Sam Elliott, and Ian McShane. The film is written and directed by Chris Weitz (About A Boy, Antz) and produced by Deborah Forte and Bill Carraro (Frequency). It is executive produced by Andrew Miano and Paul Weitz (In Good Company).

On the next day, I saw my friend playing dotA for almost 1 solid day to relax themselves. Is this the so-called pre-test syndrome?? Haha

Before test - Pavilion, Eye on Malaysia

Finally, my actual IELTS test was over.. sigh..

*flash back*

Back to 1/12, I went to Low Yat Plaza to buy some blank DVDs. I managed to visit Pavilion as well, since I had never been there before and it was situated within walking distance (15 minutes for me) from the Bkt. Bintang monorail station. I met my family there too.

The plan of this mall looked like a wide-opened-V, which was quite weird, in my opinion. It was much more smaller than my familiar 1 Utama..

On my way back, I saw Starhill Gallery on my left hand side. As I was quite rushed, I didn't manage to enter the mall, but had time to snap the photo of the entrance..

* This photo was taken 'illegally' because the security guard there told me that taking photo was prohibited..( Copyright problem)

Before going back to student house, I had my dinner with my family in Secret Recipe in The Mall which was just located beneath Legend hotel..

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the next day, we (my friends and I) went to the Eye on Malaysia in the evening. I planned to meet my friend, Lee Chon, who was studying in UTP and enjoying his holiday there..

After having dinner in KL Sentral food court ( I disliked the food there ), we departed to Titiwangsa by riding monorail.

When we reached the station, my friends' ticket had some problem that they couldn't go through the gate. They found that the lady working in the KL Sentral monorail had given them the wrong ticket.. (Luckily, I used 'Touch n Go', hihi)

We then took taxis to the Eye on Malaysia. Actually , it was quite near to the monorail station (30 minutes walking distance).

Actually , I felt quite disappointed finding that there was only a Ferris wheel (the only thing) there beside a lake (Tasik Titiwangsa).

While waiting for Lee Chon, we snapped some photos (actually quite a lot)

Finally, Lee Chon reached there. We then queued up to ride the Ferris wheel..

We planned to rent a private gondola as it would be more convenient for us, no stranger.. and cheaper (There were 8 people there, 1 adult RM 15 ,1 private gondola RM 100, calculate yourself, haha ). We snapped some photos inside the gondola

After that, some video clips about Malaysia were shown on the fountains using laser. It looked quite nice..

We took the photo of everyone before leaving Eye on Malaysia.

On the way back, we saw Istana Budaya..
