I just realize that I have wasted too much time surfing internet and blogging...

Just now in the morning, I did a listening test.I only managed to score 4/10... I just realize that my english , in all parts(listening, reading, writing, SPEAKING)are so so poor....!!!!!

I suppose I won't blog until the the IELTS is over...
This is for my own sake..

If i fail to achieve the target, no more Australia, no more kangaroo, no more Melbourne...

T.T

Hope that my willpower is strong enough

Target:
1.Cutting down time on surfing net
2.finish all the exercise (reading, listening)
3.try to cope with my laziness to write some essays
4.Must speak more english..

gambateh...

Ps: I will post about Pavillion and Eyes on Malaysia after the test

1 Utama trip... again

Today, I went 1 Utama to buy some packets of biscuits. Actually, I didn't plan this "trip". Just that there were too many events happened here that I must visit..

After buying biscuits, I went to the biscuit sculpture organized by Jacob.

I saw some fantastic sculptures there

Eifel Tower & The Great Pyramid of Giza

Tower Bridge in London (so called London Bridge )

Petronas Twin Towers

Taj Mahal

The Great Wall of China

Esplanade (durian- shaped) in Singapore

Is this a tin?
No, this is a tin-shaped table

Then, I went to Urban Live organized by NTV 7.

I managed to watch the 'Deal or No Deal ' event . The host was the same person that we all can find in the TV show. Initially, the Indian boy can win maximum RM 30. However, he refused to sell the box. When he opened his second last box, "RM 30" card was inside the box. He could only win back RM 5 .(This was his box.. Go to find out how was the instructions of the game)..

The news presenters

After that , there was a dance by children, followed by songs -Umbrella(originally sang by Rihanna), Ain't No Other Man (originally sang by Christina Aguilera)...

There was a session that the host picked 4 audiences to dance on stage when the song 'YMCA' was played.. Almost all of the audience on the stage never heard the song before.. May be because they were not Christian.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

At night, my friends and I went to 1 Utama again to have dinner in KFC. After taking not-so-tasty dinner, we went to buy some daily needs.. On the way to Urban Live, we went to Truly Japan-iwate fair in the old wing. A Japanese woman was showing the audiences how to wear kimono(和服), showing her broken Malay as well.

We then went to Nissan car fair.

Nissan Latio

Unfortunately, when we reached there, the show was over. All was over.. We then snapped some photos before we went back to our student house..

The Gardens..

Yeah, finally, my internal IELTS test finished..

After lunch, after taking something important from student house, I went straight to 1 Utama to take the bus. After that, I just knew that the bus hub was temporarily shifted to the roadside because a stage had been set up for a concert I thought (I don't know the details)

As usual, I went to KL Sentral by riding U 82. After reloading my Touch n Go card, I wanted to try something different-- going to Mid Valley by Rapid KL bus (This method wasted me a lot of time, money and energy, keep on reading..)(I realized that if I took KTM , I already saved 2 hours I spent on the stupid bus..)

I rode B 105 which was heading to KLCC and Mid Valley. After a while, I just found out that the bus headed to KLCC and then U-turned to Mid Valley (These 2 places were located at 2 different ends!!). Oh my god..

Actually, I found out something, not wasting my time after all..

1. Petaling Street was quite near to Pasar Seni(next time can take this bus..)

2. Next time, when i had time, just went to Bkt. Nanas monorail station to visit KL Tower (I have never visited KL Tower on my own yet)

3. Hotel Nikko was situated very near to KLCC (Last time, I wanted to go to the student summit held there, but nobody wanted to accompany me..)

4. Wisma MCA was just beside Hotel Nikko

5.Lembaga Getah Malaysia was also nearby only

6. There was a shopping complex (looked quite old and lousy) named Plaza Kota Raya (under Berjaya Group too)

I just realized that I needed to buy 1 more ticket for Bandar on my way to Mid Valley from KLCC. Before this , I thought that Utama ticket can be used in any type of Rapid KL buses. Somebody had taught me the wrong thing.. I still remembered that he told me that he could go anywhere using a Utama ticket. I was cheated..His famous quotation:" 用 RM2 走天下 " That was all bullshit..

Back to the story..

After that , I reached Mid Valley Megamall . With the guidance of the signboards, I was able to find the entrance of The Gardens..

When I walked through the entrance of the new wing, I saw a lot of plants in front of me. I could feel a sense of nature. I could see the escalators was decorated by pasting some wood on the sides of escalators. The design was quite nice.

A lot of shops were still under renovation. That's why I found that this building was quite empty .This building had only 2 courts, much more smaller than my familiar 1 Utama..

I went to the highest floor and I was able to find some shops like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Nokia,Sony and so on.. I went to the Nokia shop and I found the N95 8GB.

See the price? I think this is the market price..

After spending less than 2 hours in The Gardens due to boringness, I planned to go back . Again , I tried a new alternative way. I took U 66 bus which was heading to Universiti LRT station (Universiti Malaya). This method worked and saved my time because I didn't need to ride the stupid U 82 bus.

THe TM Tower was so near to UM. I still remembered that the YTM scholars were interviewed here. Too bad I was not chosen..sigh..

(TM Tower was blocked..)

I took the LRT back to Kelana Jaya and then rode U 89 back to my beloved 1 Utama. Oh, finally...

So tired....

P/S: Argh, my 5200 phone's camera sucks, almost all the photos you see in my blog is captured using this phone... only 1.3 mega pixels... Shit!!!

Happy Birthdays to My Friends

Happy Birthday to Danny and Jonathan!!!

Yesterday, we went to 1 Utama to celebrate their birthday. Before this, we planned to go to Secret Recipe or TGI Friday, but we ended out at the John Steamboat shop at the Old Wing

We ordered steamboats. While waiting for the soup to be boiled and after dinner, we snapped alot of photos.

After having it, i still didn't feel full. This steamboat cost me RM 20

After that , we took our desserts at 记得食.As I was the card holder, we all got 10 % discounts each.
Before our desserts were served , Jonathan showed off his chinese by reading the history of Japanese desserts. So funny.

Happy birthday to them again..

Pangkor Trip Day 3

As usual, after taking breakfast, we went to play the so-called-most-exciting games. (The facilitators copy the the Amazing Race' s idea)

The "Amazing Race" began. Firstly , we were ordered to find the ingredients to make Teh Tarik. Then, made the Teh Tarik and drank it. We then were given an IQ question and a lemon to be eaten .
After that, we were required to buy a pack of Pisang Goreng to get the next clue.

Clue= "Senyumanku Kab."

We had to find a shop named like this. There was nothing inside. Actually, we had to go to the beach in front of the shop. We then had to make bubbles as many as possible using shampoo to fill in a plastic bottle until full.We had to wash our hair at the seaside. We blew 10 balloons at the same time. The balloons were then put inside one of the man's cloth. Then ,we were needed to find coins beneath the sand. We had to dig, dig, dig... Before we gave up and received 10 minutes penalty, Rong Jian found a pack of coins and gave to our group. Yeah..Running, running...

We ran back to the resort. More challenges were waiting for us. We had to solve a sudoku, an IQ question, cooked a omelette and ate it and wrapped a person like mummy. So, I was the lucky man who was wrapped with tissue papers..(Too bad I don't have the photo)

The final task was to save Adilah (The banana Malay girl) from pirate (Mr Al). Some of us swam there while some kayak there.

If I was not mistaken, we were the third group to complete all the tasks.

After lunch, I went out with my friends to buy some souveniers. I bought 2 key chains and a pack of sotong(鱿鱼)。

Before we were going back, the winner was announced. The group that performed Cinderella was the champion, while my group got the last place(Of course la, we had a useless leader).

We then went back by buses. We had our dinner in Kuala Selangor Seafood Restaurant. The food there cannot be compared to Pangkor . Pangkor's food= fresh and cheap

We reached home at around 9.30pm . I broke my washing clothes record- 11 clothes per day by hand washing

Hihi..

Pangkor Trip Day 2

After taking breakfast, we played station games (or so called telematch).

The first game was about 猜拳。 Each group sent a representative to play. The lost side will be poured sea water. My group lost..

Then, we played chair-passing game. Our group , all 10 people were required to stand on chairs .People who was at the end side , needed to pass the chair to the other end, standing on the chairs. Again, we lost..

In the third game, we were required to fill in a mineral water bottle until full with sea water. We were needed to use whatever found on our body. So the boys took off shirts to soak the sea water and then the water will be filled into the bottle by girls. Again, we lost... FUCK..(We were the only team which lost in the all 3 games, I was so upset..)

Some of us continued playing in the water, while some played with the sand. There were also some people went to ride banana boat and also kayak..

After lunch, we went for snorkelling. We rode motorboat to other island. This was the first time I rode a motorboat. I didn't snorkel because I was afraid , I didn't know how to swim and my father also won't allow.. I missed a good chance, next time la

So many people were injured that day, including me.So, Rong Jian was the busiest man that day, busy bandaging almost everyone there..

We saw a see cucumber on the beach there. It hid itself behind a stone. We caught it out and put it in a plastic bottle. We released it back to the sea when we were on the way back from the island

Before going for dinner, we went to explore the shops outside the resort. I was able to eat some local food, such as lempeng pisang, pulut udang, kacang rebus, sotong bakar, and pisang goreng.

After that, we went to a seafood stall to try local seafood. We tried out sotong tepung. It was quite tasty, not because of the skill of the chef, but of the freshness..Wah..

Dinner time!! We had BBQ for dinner in the resort . We ate crab, ikan kembung (again), prawns(so small, so I ate a lot) and chicken meat. I thought that this meal will be cooked ourselves, whatever..

After that , there was a talent show at around 11pm. Each group was required to perform a show. Our group was chosen as the first group to perform. OMG!!

I can't describe every detail of the shows. So, I planned to summarise it as below:

Group 1 (my group) :Two man met in a pub. After they drank a tin of beer, they started to fight each other. Then ,they went to the bed and made love...(X rated)

Group 2:A lot of monsters were destroying a city. Ultraman 3 came out to kill the monsters and saved the world.

Group 3:A dance regarding to the' Suwaji The Boss' movie. Darsh became the main character..so funny..

Group 4:Act our KBU lecturers' style: Miss Jaclyn, Mr Lee, Mr Al, Miss Chan, Mr Richard, Mr Eric

Group 5:Cinderella story(eddited version). The edited parts are only males become females, and vice versa and the glass high-heeled shoes. The storyline was still the same. Happy ending

Group 6: A director wanted to direct a movie, which storyline was about a husband asked his wife that what was she cooking.'Chicken'.Somebody knocked the door. The husband went to open the door. There was a robber there. The robber killed the husband with a stupid gun after shooting wide for 2 times. The wife then cried due to the death of her husband. The robber then stole something outfrom their house. The emotion of actors and actress were all wrong.Starting from all happy, then sad.. The director was damn angry..(I read this story before)

Group 5 was the winner, of course.

That night, I slept very late, at around 3.30am, because I watched the football matches live. Scotland VS Italy, Italy won 2-1 after scoring a stoppage time goal. We also found that England was still alive after Israel defeated Russia 2-1

To be continued...

Pangkor Trip Day 1

“Yeah, we are going to Pangkor tomorrow”, that’ s what I thought the night day before departing ..

After lunch, we went back to student house to take our luggage. There were 2 shuttle van which were ordered to send us boys to college to ride the bus.

The stupid damn bus was late for one and a half hour. We all waited the bus until felt so fed up. Malaysian culture…

Due to tiredness, I fell asleep on the bus..

When I woke up, I saw the bus pass through Bidor . Bidor was quite a small town, less developed than my hometown, haha..

After 2 more hours, we reached Lumut jetty. We then went to the most expensive toilet I had ever been. RM 0.50 per entry.. The toilet’ s interior design was quite nice, but NO WATER..

While waiting for the ferry, we went to explore around, took some photos

I felt that Lumut really had changed a lot. It was really different from 10 years ago when I was there for the last time before moving to Sg. Petani..

We then took the last ferry to the Pangkor island. Surprisingly, it only took us around 40 minutes to reach Pangkor jetty . Nothing special happened on the ferry, only some of friends played with a cute Malay girl. She was so scared of them..

When we reached Pangkor island, we took taxis (they were actually vans) to the beach resort. I wondered it was considered a ‘chalet’. We had our dinner there. I had not eaten seafood for a long time . Ikan Kembung was also very fresh…woah..I ate quite a lot.

After that, we played snooker, table tennis and carom.

There was an ice breaking ceremony followed by.The questions asked were "What is in your kitchen?" and "I use __ to brush my teeth." Both questions must had same answer. A lot of funny answer came out. Next, everyone was told to tell others his or her name using some body language.

Then, I played poker until 3am..

To be continued..
