Handphone....

I just lost my handphone and I now urgently need a handphone to at least contact my parents... (now, I am using my friend's handphone..)

1 day after the 'robbery', I went to 1 Utama to search for 5300 , which specifications (Better and larger display resolution, better camera) was slightly better than my previous phone ..The price was also quite affordable..

Transformer edition, cool..

But the workers there told me that Nokia manufacturer has not released new 5300 phone already. They asked me to buy 5700 instead , which was more expensive. Just that i still disliked the twist function and the camera is located at the side of the phone..

In my opinion ,handphone 's main function are still making calls and text messaging. then additional features, like FM radio, music player and camera come.. So, the advanced features like GPS, Wi Fi connectivity and so forth are not essential to me..

So, goodbye , N95 8GB... Yet, you are too expensive for me..

My ideal handphone should:
1. be nokia music express edition phone (5200 is 1 of them)
2. have at least 3.0 mega pixels camera
3. have all the basic function (SMS, call, camera, music player....)
4. have high resolution display screen (16 million colour)

Finally I found it...

Nokia 5610

It fulfills my requirement...Eureka.. Yet,

As it is just released recently, the price is still very high relatively ,about RM 1400 (I am still student..)

click here to read its specifications, really impress me...

Before i forget, when I am searching for phones, I see W960i . Its specs. are almost the same with N95 8GB, and it has touch pad feature..AMAZING.. The price does scare me away, around RM 3300 ..

Recom gathering in Sunway Pyramid...

Yesterday (19/1),after having breakfast, Lester, Jonathan and I took taxi to Sunway Pyramid..

We should meet some INTEC guys there .. We reached there at around 10.30am. Those INTEC guys still had not arrived yet. While waiting for them, we went to Popular bookstore..

They arrived!!! They asked us to meet them in front of Dunkin' Donuts. After searching for a while, we found them.. Maxx, Bryan, Wen Sum,Ji Yi and her coursemate were there.. Huhu, I found that Maxx was quite tall , while Weng Sum was quite 'small-sized'...(No personal attack..)

We had our lunch in KFC restaurant.. Actually, i didn't feel well having meal in front of people i didn't really know well and much..The situation was very embarrassing ( 尴尬) and weird..It was like we already knew each other in the forum or Friendster..We didn't have much thing to talk about.. This only happened to me , didn't know why.. Lester still had something to chat with them, so as Jonathan.. May be I should improve myself..

After the embarrassing lunch, ice skating session started. I have never skated before.. I was the first timer in ice skating, same as Lester and Jonathan..We ice skated for 5 hours...I saw the girls still couldn't ice skated without holding the boundary..Maybe they were scared..so there was a good opportunity for a boy to guide her by holding her hand, skating around.. I was quite jealous as Maxx, Weng Sum, and Bryan would have such a chance to do so... I wished i could do that to other girls, but I must be very good at ice skating at first..

From left: Bryan, Augustina, Ji Yi, Weng Sum, me, Jonathan, Lester

After that, we went to watch this movie:

I supposed this was the worst movie of the year.. We all paid RM 11 each to watch this 'video clip' .The whole movie was shot using a video camera.. The quality of the video was really terrible..

I met my former classmate, Hon Kit and his INTEC friends. We (all boys)(Girls wanted to keep fit) had our dinner in Kim Gary. While waiting for food, those INTEC boys really crapped a lot. We couldn't stop laughing...

We took taxi back to 1 Utama and reached there at 10..

ARGH, my legs were really exhausted...

Horror experience...

This was the first time for me, and hopefully it will also be my last time..

On Thursday ,my friends and I , all 8 poeple went to KLCC for 'The Independence Project' and also to find some novels we need to read for AUSMAT syllabus. We all took LRT there, nothing special yet..

After having a 'ok lah' (the food was not so delicious as expected ) lunch in food court, we went to Galeri Petronas for the exhibition I mentioned just now.. After viewing so many mural paintings, I found them not so impressive as my english lecturer said..

After that, we went to Kinokuniya bookshop to search for novels required. After searching for hours, we found that most of the novels we wanted to buy were out of stock. What a disappointment..

We planned to go back after walking around the shopping mall. (Unexpected event will happen very soon)

We , 7 people (Bing Sen went back earlier ) decided to take lift to first floor. Unfortunately, the lift could not afford all of us. So, 3 of them had to get out of the lift and wait for the next lift. We, 4 people went to first floor and waited for them.

After waiting for about half an hour, we lost our patient and decided to take the escalator. We met some one who was really unexpected to us..

We met a Chinese man, who was around 45 to 50 years old, introduced himself as a gangster, said that his follower was injured the day before, asked us whether involved in the fight the day before. All of us would not join any fight, of course. He kept asking us where we were coming from. We just answered him honestly. Then, he asked us to follow him to go downstair to let his 'brother' verify our identities. Some of my friends tried to escape from him but stopped by him. One of my friends 's hanphone rang, the Chinese man asked him to switch off the phone..

We reached Burger King and there was another Chinese man waiting there. He was around 25 years old. He introduced himself as Michael, asked us again about the fight. He said that that morning , there were 4 UM students hit by him because they acted arrogant. He asked us not to lie..(He started to make us afraid of him, played with our psychology)

The men asked us to move inside because there was a CCTV near the entrance. The younger man started to talk. He wanted us to smile always, if not, we were not respecting him. (How could we smile that time?) This S-O-B asked me twice why I was not smiling. He then said that, he involved in a organisation that printed fake credit cards and fake cash notes. On the day before, his followers was hit by another gang of members. They were sent to ICU and all the fake credit cards and cash notes were all stolen..

The younger man asked 1 of my friends (Jabez) to move to another table to be interviewed. Then, left 3 of us (including me) there. He asked us our financial details (Master Card, Visa Card, Cash notes (RM 50 , Rm 100), ATM card, necklace, handphone. ). We just answered honestly (due to our affright)

He then told us that just gave him the things he mentioned just now to be checked using the computers of the organisation to check whether the cards or handphone or whatever were ours. We did as what he ordered. I gave him my handphone , RM 200 cash and ATM card..Before this, he asked us to write our IC, name , ATM password... We did whatever he ordered..

After half an hour, Jabez came to our table and told us that we were cheated because his 'interviewer '(the first chinese man) were not coming back from toilet. We quickly ran to make report at SURIA KLCC security department and Kampung Baru Police Station..

After making police report, we needed to go to meet Inspector George (He was an Indian). After waiting for hours, we found him. He sent us to the crime scene by police van. This was my first time to ride the police van..

====================================================================

After everything was settled, we went home at around 10..

PS: Luckily, I have not reached 18 years old yet, so my ATM withdrawal limit = RM 200. Otherwise, I would have been very sad...

Happy New Year..

Finally, I complete my posts from 2007...

The new year begins, everything is new (hopefully..)

Now, I am thinking about a song in High School Musical---- Start of Something New

"This could be a start of something new..."

I hope that this year would be a better year..

New Year Resolution:
1. more hardworking
2. obtain better resultSSS
3. more friendly
4. more caring (to everyone, friends, family, relatives)
5. grow taller (just like Jabez , haha)
6. I believe I can fly....

Happy New Year..

Penang trip + IELTS result released + Learn Driving..

On 27/12 , after studying undang- undang for the whole night, I sat for the test . The registration process took me quite a long time.. I managed to finish the test in 11 minutes (the test duration was 45 minutes) and didn't even checked the answers. (I was too lazy) Hooray, I passed the exam, wrong 4 questions only..

Then, I went to my school to certify documents. When I reached my beloved school, I just realized that PMR results were released that time.. I heard that our school 8 As scorers (81) had broken the school previous record. Walao.. (At night, when i read newspapers, I found that Penang schools did better.. Jit Sin 8As 209 people, Penang Girl's school 201 people.. ) The students' quality became higher or tests became easier? Haha

At noon, Nam Khoon ,Lee chon and I went to Penang. Nam Khoon wanted to take back his laptop . Sin Jie (Nam Khoon's friend ) came to fetch us from jetty. He drove us to the HP Service Center (near Bkt. Jambul). After that, Nam Khoon realized that his laptop adaptor was lost.....(REMINDER: don't buy COMPAQ ). After having our tea break in a hawker center , we went to Prangin Mall. Around 8, we took the ferry back to Butterworth. We had dinner at mamak stall near jetty..

*Tired*

----------------------------------------------

28/12

This day was quite a special day... 13 calendar days from my IELTS test. My dad asked me to call KBU to ask about the results. I called KBU twice, one was lunch break, and 1 asked me to call tomorrow. My dad and I felt so fed up. I asked my dad to call. After a long wait, my dad called me. Unbelievable,I got band 7..

wow...This was really an unexpected result...

At night, we went to The Sense (a cafe) to 'celebrate'..I tried mocha for the first time, it was too sweet for me...

---------------------------------------------

29/12 + 30/12

I went to attend the D class theory class. Damn damn boring. I almost fell asleep there..

On 30/12, I sat for the practical test. It was the first time to drive...A bit nervous. Most people told me that newbie would feel scared on the road, but I didn't think so..

I only managed to learn parking (3 poins turn and daki bukit will be leant next year...)

That 's all..

Village Mall + Sunway Carnival Mall

Village mall is the newest shopping mall in SP.So, I must pay a visit there..

One day, my family and I had our dinner there . While waiting for food, I walked around the whole mall. What a disappointment, this building only had 3 floors. The shops there were also never heard before..The only historical thing was there was Starbuck here, which was the first in SP..

The only surprise was I met my previous schoolmates. They were Choong Ghiap (now in Sin Min Form 6) and Chi Hau (future doctor)

From the conversation we had, I just knew that my secondary school's principal was Mr Png( my school former PK, he was transfered to Chio Min for 1 year) .Our school just won another award (before this, my school won Anugerah Sekolah Harapan)

Choong Ghiap will be going to Taiwan next year under a scholarship. He will become Namewee 's schoolmate soon..

oops, I forgot about my dinner...

---------------------------
On the next day, we went to visit Sunway Carnival Mall.

We watched 投名状 there.

I personally liked the role of Jet Li...

Before going back home, we had our dinner in Megamall ..

Genting + Bkt. Bintang trip

Early in the morning, we departed from 1 Utama to Genting by bus. It cost us only RM 8.50 per person(including Skyway -one trip) ..Huhu..

After 1 hour, we reached Skyway. We rode cable car to the Genting Highland. We then reached Highland Hotel. En route to First World Hotel, we visited gallery of Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong.

We then reached First World Hotel. We had our lunch in Marrybrown because this was the cheapest food could be found around there.

We went to walk around the plaza.

After that, we went to Cultural Village at the top floor of First World Hotel, nothing there, so disappointed that there were only shops that sold 'la-la' things..

Before leaving Genting Highlands at 4, we went to enjoy the fresh, cool air outside..We bought some junk food before departing to Jalan Imbi.

We all took a nap on the bus. Around 6,we arrived at Times Square. After taking photos and walking around , we went to Low Yat Plaza to have our dinner.

After dining , we walked to Jalan Alor, which was situated 2 streets in front of BB Plaza. I managed to buy dried meat (肉干) back home..

We went to visit Pavilion after that. There was a big white christmas tree. We could see that some children were singing Christmas songs on the tree .

Before going back, we went to Starhill. There was also a choir there singing christmas songs..

I found the items sold here were extremely expensive. For example, the original LV handbag cost more than RM 10000..

*sweat*
