“Yeah, we are going to Pangkor tomorrow”, that’ s what I thought the night day before departing ..
After lunch, we went back to student house to take our luggage. There were 2 shuttle van which were ordered to send us boys to college to ride the bus.
The stupid damn bus was late for one and a half hour. We all waited the bus until felt so fed up. Malaysian culture…
Due to tiredness, I fell asleep on the bus..
When I woke up, I saw the bus pass through Bidor . Bidor was quite a small town, less developed than my hometown, haha..
After 2 more hours, we reached Lumut jetty. We then went to the most expensive toilet I had ever been. RM 0.50 per entry.. The toilet’ s interior design was quite nice, but NO WATER..
While waiting for the ferry, we went to explore around, took some photos
I felt that Lumut really had changed a lot. It was really different from 10 years ago when I was there for the last time before moving to Sg. Petani..
We then took the last ferry to the Pangkor island. Surprisingly, it only took us around 40 minutes to reach Pangkor jetty . Nothing special happened on the ferry, only some of friends played with a cute Malay girl. She was so scared of them..
When we reached Pangkor island, we took taxis (they were actually vans) to the beach resort. I wondered it was considered a ‘chalet’. We had our dinner there. I had not eaten seafood for a long time . Ikan Kembung was also very fresh…woah..I ate quite a lot.
After that, we played snooker, table tennis and carom.
There was an ice breaking ceremony followed by.The questions asked were "What is in your kitchen?" and "I use __ to brush my teeth." Both questions must had same answer. A lot of funny answer came out. Next, everyone was told to tell others his or her name using some body language.
Then, I played poker until 3am..
To be continued..
